Another year, another resolutions list...

The resolution list doesn't reflect it, but these past 366 days have definitely been a year of growing and developing. I have pushed myself so much, met some many wonderful people and realised there is nothing wrong with me... I'm just work in progress!

Firstly, however, I want to reflect on my goals from last year. I think the colour system is pretty straightforward, however, green means I achieved my goal, orange means it work in progress, and red means I haven't done it (yet!)

Read 15 books (smashed it with 43)
Take time to be more creative
Spend more time outside exploring
Go on adventures
Write in my journal more

Get to a weight where I am happy with my body
Incorporate Yoga/Pilates into part of my routine
Reduce my meat and dairy intake
Meditate More Often
Exercise regularly

Get a job
Buy a car and pass my driving test
Volunteer at a charity event or fundraiser
Make new friends

Attend more events
Meet bloggers and make friends
Create a blogging schedule and stick to it!

What a bloody mess!
In the 5 years, I have been doing this post, this has by far been the worst for achieving my resolutions. I was almost embarrassed to post this, but I wanted to be honest. Some of these goals I have just not reached (because I'm being lazy), but some of them stopped being as important to me. For example, buying a car and passing my test became less important when I decided that I would rather save my money to travel.

Let's move past that embarrassment and focus on my resolutions for 2017. (No seriously, please scroll down)

More Photography
Go on day trips/Visit more places
Read 35 books from a range of genres
Try my hand (literally) at calligraphy

Spend time exercising outdoors
Take control of my ever expanding waistband and shed some weight
Spend less time on social media
Build up muscle strength

Make a decision about my next career step
Make more new friends and build on existing friendships
Do more social 'things'

Continue to blog and connect with people about topics I feel passionately about

All that is left, is for me to say a big thank you for all your support in 2016 and I wish you all the best for 2017... let's smash it!
