Walking the Waterfalls: Pistyll Rhaeadr

There is nothing like a winter walk, especially when the sky is clear and the view is this incredible.

A few weeks ago my family and I headed off for a week away to Shropshire. One morning, we decided to take a morning trip out to a waterfall nearby. We were right on the border to Wales and in an absolutely beautiful place. The waterfall was at the end of a long windy road, so really secluded from everything else. We only spent a few hours there, but it was so peaceful to wander around the waterfall and into the woodland nearby.

We were really lucky that it was an absolutely beautiful morning, the sky was bright blue and it was actually quite warm when the sun was shining. We were hoping to make it the top of the falls, and we almost made it, unfortunately, it was far too icy to make it all the way, however, the view from where we were was still spectacular.

I'll let the pictures speak for themselves, however without being there, it's hard to understand the power of the falls
