7 ways to make the best of Blue Monday

So today is the day, the most depressing day of the year, apparently. Long enough after Christmas that it feels like a distant memory, but close enough that we're all still pretty disappointed that it's over. Coincidently, for me this year, I've booked to go away for the week so my Blue Monday will most likely be rearing it's ugly head next week, however, for those of you in the normal routine, here is my list of things to get you through the darkest of days (note sarcasm).

1. lay in bed all day

2. Cry into a box of leftover chocolates and binge on bad food all day just to distract you.

3. Look back at photos from Christmas, remembering the 'good times'. (Side note, this could actually make you feel worse)

4. Scrap all New Year resolutions, your surprised they lasted this long, and today is the perfect excuse to call it quits.

5. Ring up your Uncle you only see at Christmas and relive the memories.

6. Start planning trips and holidays for the summer, even better, turn the heating up really high and pretend to be on a tropical island.

7. Rest easy knowing that the stress of Christmas is over for another year, or what feels like about 3 weeks.

  2. I didn't even know this was a thing until I seen it trending on twitter haha! Well I'm pretty happy today so hopefully I'll stay that way lol! I'll start planning my summer vacation just for the sake of it haha!
