As mentioned in a previous post, my Dad kindly bought me a Pentax K1000 for my 21st Birthday. After beginning to take a strong interest in film photography these past few months, I began researching into the best film camera to invest in. After reading online, the Pentax K1000 seemed like the best choice for a film photographer beginner.
Since I've started using it, I have found it so much easier to use than I thought it would be, and with the built-in light meter, taking pictures has been a doddle (I should probably wait till I get my prints back before getting too cocky!) I haven't had any pictures developed yet, but have taken it to London and Bournemouth so should be getting them developed soon. I absolutely love just pressing the shutter and not having a clue how the pictures are going to turn out until weeks later, I'm sure there will be some surprises in there when it comes to getting them developed.
I'm sure I will post about this little beauty again, once I get my prints back, I'm just so excited to see the final outcome.
Do you love film photography too?

This looks great. I love not being able to delete photographs sometimes like you do on a digital camera x

that looks so awesome! I really love film photography, especially because it's a lot more natural and less perfect looking than digital photography! This camera looks wonderful and I hope your prints come out well!
