A few days ago me and my friends decided to head to town for shopping and a catch up over lunch. I was desperately running low on powder so headed to Boots to pick up a replacement. One of my friends recommend the Maybelline Matte Maker powder so I decided to give it a go. I'm not too knowledgable on face powders but was looking to try something different. Boots were running an offer of 'buy one get one half price', and as the primer I was after was out of stock I decided to pick up the Maybelline Master Drama Khol liner. Again, I have never used this before but after losing my brown liner a few weeks ago I was looking for a new one. I've only swatched this on my hand so far but it looks really pigmented, I can't wait to try it as part of my everyday makeup routine.
Not wanting to back down on getting the primer I was after, I decided to head to Superdrug. They had a brilliant offer on of 2 for £10. When I tracked down the Maybelline Instant Pore Eraser primer for £8, I thought why not pick myself up another treat for only £2 more. I've been thinking of buying a dark purple shade lipstick for a while and when I saw the Maybelline one in the shade 'always plum', I knew that it was exactly what I was after. It's quite a dark shade for me but I absolutely love it and can't wait to start wearing it soon.
My last purchase was the MUA Power Pout stick in the shade 'irreplaceable'. I hadn't heard of these before but they reminded me of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable sticks. The shade is a really soft pink that is absolutely beautiful and will be perfect for everyday.
Have you been treating yourself to any purchases recently?

I haven't tried any of these, been wanting to buy the Maybelline Primer for a while, but wanted to finish the Loreal one I have first! Trying not to buy too much makeup which is pretty difficult!

I haven't tried the Baby skin primer, what's it like? I have a billion primers so I definitely don't need another one... but you know... when I've finished using all of my primers I'll need a new one! ha.
