Southampton

A few weeks ago, my housemate and I decided to go on a little walk around Southampton. I've lived here now for over two years, and although I don't see myself staying here forever, I love how it's not the concrete jungle you would expect.

When I first came to Southampton for my University interview, I knew this was the right place for me. Moving from a small town in the country, I didn't want to be submerged in tall buildings and busy streets. I'm not sure exactly how many parks their are in Southampton, but along with the docks, they are my favourite place. It's hard to believe that your actually in a city, with Primark and Topshop just round the corner.

I'm not quite sure how I'll cope when I leave next year, but I know I will certainly miss this place, along with the people I have met here *tears up* anyway, I'm trying not think about that just yet.

  4. I went to Southhampton to view the university and it was a nice place. I didn't do too much exploring but I like the look of all this greenery. Maybe it's somewhere to think about going when I go back to the UK next summertime.
