Portsmouth Lush Blogger Event

A few weeks ago, I was kindly invited to a sneak peak of the Lush Christmas and Halloween collections. This was actually my first blogging event, so with my stomach full of excited butterflies, I boarded the train from Southampton to Portsmouth. I really didn't know what to expect but I had a brilliant time, and it was so nice to finally meet to some of the bloggers I had been speaking to online. We were given demonstrations of the majority of the products, which were incredible and I was literally in awe of every lotion and potion they had.

We also had the opportunity to make our own comforters. Something I was terrible at but enjoyed so much and can't wait to start using. Plus, it smells amazing!

We were able to pick out a few items at the end of the evening, I went for Rose Jam shower gel, Snowman shower jelly, Golden Wonder bath bomb and the Snow Fairy shimmer bar. They all smell absolutely amazing and I can't wait to pick out more from the collection when I go next time.

What is your favourite thing from the Lush Christmas collection?

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush

While I love many Soap and Glory products, I always find their scents particularly strong. Knowing that, of course I decided to try Sugar Crush, arguably the strongest smelling product of them all... Yay me!

Ok, in all honesty, I actually love this scent so much. I've been using it in my showers most mornings and its great for waking up and feeling refreshed. I think it is more of a summer scent but I still love it as the fruity smell keeps me on high alert for several hours.

It's hard to describe the smell till you actually try it, but I would say its extremely fruity and zingy! I initially didn't like its scent, but I can't imagine taking a show without it now. It's so soft on the skin and always leaves me feeling refreshed and ready for the day. Plus, need I mention the packaging? One of my favourite things about Soap and Glory is their packaging, and this product has to be one of my favourites! I am about halfway through using this, and I don't want it to end, luckily, the big bottle seem to last forever! (Lets hope so anyway)

What's you favourite Soap and Glory body wash?

Autumn 2014

Autumn is finally here!
I have actually be saying for ages that I couldn't wait for the nights to draw in, the weather to get colder and the anticipation of Christmas. While I'm excited that it's finally starting to look that way, I am already missing the never ending days of summer, when a touch of tinted moisturiser and your hair in a bun was overdressed.

I love autumn fashion, but I did forget that autumn would mean that the weather would become dramatically colder... silly I know! This most likely has something to do with the fact that my University house is freezing and we are trying to keep the heating off as long as possible.

Putting that aside however, snuggling up with a hot chocolate and a black and white film under my duvet sounds perfect right about now.

#ZOELLA Beauty

In all honesty, I'm surprised by the lack of posts about this collection. I expected my blog feed to be bursting at the seams with candles, fizz bars and guinea pig makeup bags. I'm not complaining though, I like hearing honest thoughts about products.

When Zoella's collection was launched I was a little unsure as to whether I would actually purchase anything. I wanted to buy the items because they genuinely intrigued me, and not just because of the name associated with them. I am incredibly proud of Zoe, and after following her journey for nearly four years, it's hard to believe that she has got to where she is today. That being said, I wanted to try her products for what they are and not let me opinion on her distort my view.

When I headed to Superdrug, I decided to pick up the Fizz Bar and Soak Opera. I am incredibly curious to see if these products are actually as good a they appear.

Expect a review very shortly!
