Photocrafty

Recently, I decided to buy photocrafty by Sue Venables. I saw the book online and was immediately drawn to it, (although they do say you should never judge a book by it's cover!) I love all the different types of photos that surrounded the title and I couldn't wait to try some of the techniques out that had been featured.

The book is described as
'75 creative camera projects for you and your digital SLR'.

This was perfect for me as I have recently felt I'm not getting the full potential out of my camera. When the book arrived, I was actually surprised by how big it was. I think this is due to the amount of photographs inside. It's full of step by step guides of how to achieve certain techniques, with images clearly explaining each step, extremely helpful for someone like me.
I haven't had chance to try many of these techniques out yet, but I really want to give it a go. None of the projects seem over complicated and some of the results are truly beautiful. I will be posting image of some of the techniques once I've tried them so stay tuned for that very soon!

  3. I definitely don't make the most out of my DSLR, but I've honestly never thought about looking for a book that could help me do so. I can't wait to see you try out some of the techniques, I'm intrigued to see what kind of stuff is in there now!
