My New Room

This post is unfortunately not a room tour, (expect that soon though), but basically a post of me gushing about how much I love my new room. My old decor was tired and old, reminding me of my 16 year old self. I can't exactly pinpoint what it was that I didn't like about my old room, but it didn't feel like 'me' anymore. I was increasingly spending more time outside of my room, and the pink walls, matched with the single bed, made me feel particularly pubescent.

Tadaaaaa! *smiles with glee*

Ok, so you can only see one shelf in the whole room, but it's something right?! Although there are a lot of things that I love about my new room, these ornaments have got to be one of my favourite. I wasn't looking for a particular theme when I was picking out things, but surprisingly, they all work pretty well together. I'm not really sure what the theme is, but it's a theme at least!

My room isn't actually that big so the single is having to stay, but like the bed, I'm also single, so I doubt I will be fighting for space! I can't wait to post the rest of my room, once the final pieces have been bought. The more eagle eyed of you, will have seen a little more of my room when I have done outfit posts!

Expect the rest very soon!

  2. Looking forward to a room tour!! I'm moving into my brothers room soon which is going to be so much fun to decorate, especially as I could never do much in my own as it's so small! I also see this globe every weekend at work and I'm so desperate to get one!

Just found your blog and love it, now following :) xx

  5. How exciting! I've been thinking about redecorating my room but I'm not sure which way to go! I think I need to de-clutter first and then take it from there :)

  6. Oooh the globe is pretty! I want to redecorate my room at home but it would mean replacing all of the furniture - it's currently completely mis-matched. Like, 6 different types/colours of wood hahah.
Look forward to seeing your room! (does that sound creepy?)
