August Favourites

I can't believe August has come and gone already. This year is going to quickly, and with the X Factor back on TV, the run up to Christmas is well and truly on. Despite feeling like this month when by in the blink of the eye (poet and I didn't even know it), I have found the time to try and fall in love with a few new products.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil- I had read online that tea tree oil is great for getting rid of spots and acne, so when I was making a Body Shop order online I could resist adding it to my basket. I've been using it most days by just dabbing it on the problem areas and I really can't believe the difference it has made. While I haven't had many spots recently, so it's hard to tell if it helps on those, the difference in my acne has been phenomenal. I kind of wish I had taken photos of my acne before so you could see the difference, but it's something I am extremely self conscious of. While my acne hasn't completely gone, I can see that in the long term, this product is going to make a significance difference to those little blighters. Stay tuned for a full length review.

You had me at Hello by- I actually reviewed this book on my blog a few days ago, which you can read about here. I just feel like it's really relaxing to read and easy to follow. I love reading books like these during 'summer' as they are great to pick up and put down. This one had really short chapters, so was quite fast paced and never boring.

Aztec Jacket- I have been obsessed with this jacket and have been wearing it at every opportunity possible. You can see a recently OOTD where the beautiful jacket featured here. I have a lot of black clothes so this is a great addition to brighten up an otherwise boring outfit, plus add a much smarter edge.

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lipstain- I know a lot of people love these, and I can completely understand why. Not only are the different shades beautiful, my favourite being 'Honey', but they also smell really nice too, not something you hear everyday! I also love how nicely they apply to the lips, I don't feel like my lips are covered in a sticky and annoying lipstick. I seriously could rate these highly enough.

HD Brows- I have been loving this palette for quite a long time, but after paying even more attention to trying to shape my brows I've been relying on this product a lot. Not only does the bottom right shade match my eyebrows perfectly, but the cream colours works as a perfect highlight too. I seriously don't know what I'll do when this product runs out!

Avon Far Away Perfume- I've had this perfume for quite a while now, and this scent is really lovely. What I like most about this is its affordability. It's great for wearing to work or on an ordinary day saving the more expensive perfumes for special occasions. It lasts all day and is a great scent.

What have been your favourite this month?
