Tea on The Wall Chester

Despite being incredibly busy over the last few weeks, I finally found the time to take Mum out for afternoon tea to celebrate Mothers Day... better late than never! Having already bought vouchers, we headed to Tea on The Wall in Chester. I absolutely love Chester it's full of culture and history, and although it's quite small it has pretty much everything. A definite recommendation if you are looking to get away but want somewhere where there is plenty to do, or you really love cute cafes.

As if the name isn't enough of a clue, the cafe was actually on top of Chester walls, looking down on part of the city below. It made such an amazing view and although we went on a rather muggy day, I think it would be perfect when the sun is shining. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious and was consumed rather quickly by both my mum and I (we couldn't help ourselves). As we were the only people in there, it did at times feel a little uncomfortable but that may be because I am incredibly awkward (surprise surprise!)

Overall it was beautiful place to visit and the afternoon tea was super scrumptious. I was also extremely welcoming of the glass of Procesco that was included too. A definite recommendation from me, perfect for a little snack and most certainly reminded me of my love for cute independent cafes.
