The Black fedora is fast becoming a wardrobe essential. With many celebrities and well-known fashion bloggers opting for this style of hat, it is not surprising most high street shops are stocking them at the moment.
I have been eyeing up the fedora hat for a while unsure whether to take the plunge. I mean, there is something quite daring about wearing a hat. Even a small bobble one leaves me feeling self-conscious. Surely it’s just the same a wearing a statement necklace or a pair of killer heels? However, I'm sure that choosing to wear any sort of hat gives you, well me, a sense of vulnerability. That being said, it's not hard to walk down the high street and notice someone wearing a hat. I admire those people who don't feel self-conscious, and if they do, they hide it well.
What I am trying to say I guess is that I am going to take the plunge and buy a fedora. Oh, and I am actually going to wear it. I'm fed up of having a whole host of beautiful clothing stuffed at the bottom of my wardrobe gather dust through pure fear of wearing something a little different. I'm sure we are all the same and long to have the confidence to wear that special something, now’s your chance...
Expect an OOTD very soon in which I will hopefully be sporting one of these fedora beauties. I urge you to do the same about the item you have that is gathering dust... do it, now!

Every autumn/winter I get obsessed with hats and have developed quite the collection over the last couple of years but I totally agree with you (and thanks for making me realise that it's not just me!) re. feeling self-concious!
