10 Year Old Film Photographs

There is something so nostalgic about looking through old photographs and reliving memories. My Mum has been meaning to develop 29 camera films for so long. The films were abandoned in the age of the digital revolution and have laid forgotten at the back of a cupboard for nearly 10 years. Yesterday we finally got all the films developed and had the opportunity to rummage through all the photographs and look back on our younger selves. Luckily there was nothing to shocking but it help to relive my childhood and remind me of things that I had completely forgot about, old friends, old clothes and my sense of naivety
Getting the films developed has definitely re-established my love for film cameras. I took a film camera with me to America as I love the effects they give. I'm yet to get the film developed but I can't wait to see the outcome as I think the anticipation is definitely part of it. I'm really going to make an effort to take more photos both on film and digital as I truly believe a photo can hold a thousand memories.

VIDEO: Summer Lookbook

This has to be one of my most exciting upload I've ever done on my blog... Today I uploaded my first YouTube video, eeekkk! I've been really excited and working on this video for the past few weeks. I enjoyed putting it together so much, and although the editing took a while, I'm pretty happy with the overall style of the video. I really look forward to hearing everyone's opinions and comments about this video and hopefully encouragement to carry on and upload more, its something I have been wanting to do for a while.

The video itself includes some of my most worn outfits over the summer months including some of my favourite pieces. I can't wait to see your comments on the videos.

Here is a cheeky link to my channel!

Monument Valley, Utah- One of the many pictures I took in America, expect a lot more soon.
Today me and my Mum decided to set off in the car and look for something interesting to spend our day doing. We ended up spending the day in this beautiful village full of boutique shops and the cutest cafes. I enjoyed the day so much and couldn't wait to see what was around every corner. It was so nice being in a place I hadn't been before and discovering new things and can't wait to do it again.
I've never really been one for planning things, I would much rather make spur of the moment decision and not worry about arranging and sorting things out. Sometimes, I think it's so much more exciting to not always know quite where you are going, after all, isn't that what life is all about?

I regularly receive emails for discount websites giving offers and deals on various things. I even got one today including a 1nt break for 2 with dinner and breakfast in Bournemouth for £45. It wouldn't cost me much to get their from Southampton and split between to people I think that is a really good deal. Things like this often make me wonder, why don't I take these opportunities and live in the moment!

I don't want to keep thinking that one day I am going to do this, of one day I am going to go there as there is simply so much I want to do and experience that I'll never get round to it if I live by that attitude. I'm setting myself my own goal, and it is simply to do more, experience things, and yes, as soppy as it sounds live in the moment. I would hate to look back on life and wish I had done so much more. After spending 3 weeks travelling with my friend around America it truly made me realise how mahoosive the world is and how much there is to do, best get to it, whose with me?

I made a Tumblr account (Link here) a few months ago and have been updating in regularly since. I love to find some more people on it as I'm still getting to grips with the website. Let me know if you have a Tumblr account.

Topshop Wishlist

I've been really trying to save my money recently but can never resit having a peek at the new stock hitting the shops. I went into Topshop a few weeks ago and fell in love with a black leather bag they had on the shelves. Since then, I've been searching online to try and find this 'mystery bag' that I wish I had picked up. Of course, this many I had to check out the rest of the website to see what was available, as any other fashion addict would. I was quite surprised I found so many things that I would love to have in my wardrobe. I love the tie dye t-shirt as it's quite baggy so perfect for a lazy day while still looking stylish. In fact I'm convinced I'm going to buy this or a cheaper alternative at least! My other favourite item I found was the boots. I've recently fell in love with this style of shoe and really want to get a pair like this for autumn, ok, I may be getting a little ahead of myself, but it's good to plan ahead. If you read my blog regularly you may be aware of my obsession with rings. I really like the 'F' ring as it’s a slight hint of personal item, different then the majority of people will have. Finding the book was a real gem, who doesn't love cocktail and literacy classics?! I'm currently trying to control the urge to buy all this and instead making wishlist to satisfy my desire for beautiful clothes!
