Leslie Lee Sanders Interview

The second in my series of blogger interviews is the lovely Leslie. Leslie's blog is great for anyone interested in writing. Here is what she had to say...
What is the name of your blog?
Leslie Lee Sanders. Author of fiction with spice,
publishing industry blogger and freelance writer.
Tell us a 5 interesting facts about yourself?
1. I've written erotic romance since 2005
2. I stopped driving over ten years ago after realizing a car can double as a deadly weapon
3. I love psychological thrillers
4. I wrote and illustrated my own scary stories in sixth grade
5. My writing career in general consists of me mostly being independent in many of the decisions, including; indie publishing, freelance blogging, writing, and learning through trial and error
What made you want to start a blog?
I've learned so much being in the writing business since 2005 and gathered a wealth of information on writing, blogging and publishing that most novice writers seek. I get lots of questions about everything from the craft of writing to indie publishing, and started a blog in 2009 to make my knowledge available to those who seek it. Starting a blog was the best way to reach readers too. I found most readers are writers or want to be writers. So, why not create a place on the Net where you can get reads and writing tips?
Describe your blog in one sentence?
A place for writers, bloggers and indie authors to get tried and true writing and publishing advice, tips and information.
What blogs/bloggers do you most admire?
There are two blogs that I find very valuable for me and any freelance writer or blogger. Be a Freelance Blogger is blogging expert Sophie Lizard's blog. There, you can find great information about the business of blogging and making money at it. Slightly similar is Make a Living Writing, the blog of freelance writer Carol Tice. Here, you can get tons of tips and information on the business of freelance writing. These two blogs I visit daily. Very helpful and inspiring.
What is your favourite thing about the blogging community?
I love the discussions. We all can blog about the same thing but put our own unique slant on it where we all can emerged enlightened by each others posts. Or add our opinions to entice a healthy debate over a topic. Blogging is such a great way to gather ideas and solutions just from the comments alone. Love it!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I hope to be one of the super highly respected experts in the publishing, blogging and writing industry. (No, I don't think that's unrealistic or farfetched) I'd love to have my name come up in conversations about writing and the business. Having a book or two on an international bestseller's list by then wouldn't be too bad either.
