Topshop Wishlist

| 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |

Wishlist are perfect when your trying to save money, it allows me to look through shops online without feeling guilty... its for my blog after all! I made this list a couple of days ago but since going into Topshop (I didn't buy anything promise!) I've discovered a lot more things I really want to get my hands on. My mind really is on spring at the moment and apart from the trousers I could see everything with high waisted shorts and layered necklaces... summer really could come soon enough! I'm hoping to travel somewhere with my friend during the summer so desperately trying to save my money. I'm already planning to save extra money to fund a new wardrobe, you have to travel in style of course.

The shoes are not something that I would normally opt for but I think they would be perfect with a clash of denim fabric of shorts. I've already mentally planned several outfits for summer that will be perfect if only the weather would warm up... call me impatient but I'm bored with winter now and have been for some time.
What are you most looking forward to about summer?

New Name Feedback

I'm hoping that any returning bloggers will notice a difference from now and the last time you were here. I have been debating for months as to whether to change my name to something more general rather than just beauty related. It was a really difficult decision as I have spent a lot of time trying to build a name for Fi's Beauty Box and it was something that I didn't want to go to waste. I did however feel that the name was limiting the content that I felt comfortable including on my blog. I really want my blog to be more lifestyle based than it has been previously. Of course I still have a strong interest in fashion and beauty and this will remain a huge part of my blog. However I wanted to include more posts about the other interests in my life as well.
The main reason I haven't changed the URL yet is because I really want to here your feedback. Although I'm not completely happy with the header at the moment, I really want to trial it to get your opinion. It really means a lot what you think, as, of course my readers are at the centre of my blog. I've opted for a much simpler name that hopefully  sound good and will be easy to remember.
Can't wait to here your feedback!

I always think of 19 as such an in between age, as if in limbo. I'm in my final year of being a teenager and while I want to hold on to the precious years of being in my teens, I am ready to grow up (slightly). So 19 it was. It was so strange having my birthday away from home. Luckily, my mum had brought me back to Uni after spending the weekend at home and decided to stay for a couple of days. It was really nice to have her here and she put in so much effort to making sure my birthday felt as special as normal. I was extremely lucky with the presents that I received this year and I really can't wait to start reading, using and scribbling in them. I really want to do more posts in the future about some of the things that I got in closer detail but thought I would take pictures of a some of the things I was lucky enough to receive this year.

I was really happy when I found I had got the Diffuser Perfume I had asked for. As I'm not allowed candles in my room at Uni, the diffuser is perfect for adding a nice fragrance to my little box of a room. For someone who loves little pieces of jewellery, I was so happy when I opened a card from my cousin to find she had made me some bracelets. There something so personal and individual about handmade gifts and definitely something I want to think about in the future. The main thing I asked for this year was a new hairdryer. I really wanted one that had a diffuser perfect for everyday volume and curls. I've only used my hairdryer once but I really like it so far and is definitely a lot more powerful than the travel hairdryer I've been using over the past few months.

I also received four books this year, all of which I had asked for so was super happy when I opened them. My future Listography is such a cute book that allows you to make lists of things you want to achieve, see or do in the future. With Heath Ledger being my favourite actor of all time, I was really happy when I found this biography online. I've only had it a few days now and I'm nearly halfway through. He really was one of the most amazing, talented and intriguing actors. I initially found 'Quiet: The power of Introverts' while reading Glamour. It seemed like the perfect book for someone who is naturally extremely shy and introverted. The final, and by far the biggest book was the 'My Life Story'. It’s basically a huge journal that can be filled with all the different adventures and memories throughout your life along with space for pictures.

Finally, if you read my blog often you will also know that I really love Soap and Glory products and am keen to try out as many as I can. I've never tried their shampoo and conditioner before so was more than happy to get these. Also, who doesn't love an easy pump body wash?!

Laidbare Masque Review

I'm one of those people who loves a good face mask. There is something so satisfying about looking at your fresh faced skin and feeling refreshed. I recently brought this Laidbare Masque for TK Maxx. The main selling point for me was the 'pore minimizing' effect from the masque.

I've used the masque a few times now and I truly think that its a great product. The masque only takes 10 minutes so is great if your in a rush. The fact that the masque isn't really 'gloopy' means that it doesn't create a huge mess or go everywhere and can be used as part of your weekly routine with convenience. I've had a lot of problems with my skin recently and although I can't see a huge difference in my skin since I started using this masque, my skin does feel a lot cleaner and refreshed.

I would definitely recommend this as a simple to use masque. Its perfect for anyone who can't or doesn't want to spend a long time with various lotions and potions.
Perfect for the 'get up and go girl!'
