I've been tyring really hard not to spend any money but I'm sure the odd treat won't hurt... right?!

Luckily (or unluckily), where I went shopping there wasn't too many 'good' shops so the damage wasn't too bad! I brought this little bargain in Poundland. I think they are so good for highstreet  make up brands and I've been wanting to try this for ages. I didn't realise that I picked it up in brown (I'm not sure if there was a black) but as it was only a £1 I can't argue and I'll most likely where it with another mascara anyway!

My mum got me this top in New Look as I was a little on the fence about it. It was only £4, yes I no a bargain, but the sensible side of me kicked in telling me that if I saw this in Primark for the same price I know I wouldn't be buying it. Since I have been home its growing on me... so thank you Mammmaaaarrr!

I'm not usually a massive shopper of Select but occasionally have a gander in there. I must admit I love their leggings. They are really good quality and definitely last the longest out of any leggings I've had before and for 2 for £8 you can't really go wrong. I decided to buy two, in a dark blue and grey, as I have pretty much every other colour they sell apart from the 'erghhhh' few! I don't have a picture as I was wearing a pair and the others where in the wash, however, they are pretty much self explanatory.

I also FINALLY brought a Cossack and hat and a collar/scarf that I have been dying for. I didn't plan to get them matching but don't think I'll wear them together anyway. The hat was £4 reduced from £8 and the scarf was £5 reduced from £10 (I think). I was super happy because I've wanted items like these for ages and they were such a Steal!

The last thing I brought was something a little different than I normally go for but its a style I have been looking at for a while, a sheer blouse. I think they are really nice and give a dressy vibe to an outfit. This was £12 which I was a little unsure about buying for that price (cheapskate alert) but its a little different and looks cute. I really want to where a blouse similar to this (maybe which buttons all the way up) for my interview for Uni and a pair of black leggings. Do you think that's smart enough? Opinions highly valued!

My Latest Obsession

I am in love with these absolutely gorgeous shoes from Chocker Shoes. they have become my latest obsession and I just can't stop looking at them. I know alot of people may see them as a little bit tarty or perhaps over the top but I think they are lovely and worn right can be a real statement piece to any outfit. Its not something I would usually where but I really want theses bad boys. The are £35.00 reduced, which I don't think is that bad considering what you get for you money and they have so many different styles to choose from and many different types of shoes... these are just to die for.

Should I take the plunge and purchase them?

Clothes Show Live

I know the Clothes Show was over a month ago, but I have only just got round to uploading this. I've had it in my drafts for ages... Hope you don't mind! xx

I was lucky enough to win tickets to the Clothes Show this year thanks to Amy! I was planning on going to the Clothes show this year, having gone twice before and loved it. However, being the cheap skate I am, I was hoping to save money and book at the last minute with a deal (a deal I must admit never came, as I normally get these through emails). But boy am I happy I waited!

If you aren't familiar with the clothes show it is the biggest fashion and beauty event in the UK. Featuring an exhibtion theatre that has a range of stalls some familiar such as Benefit, Rimmel and Illamasqua and some not so familiar... no worse however! There are different areas on the exhibition such as fashion, beauty and designer. With various fashion shows and stages located around the arena. When booking, there is also the opportunity to go to the fashion show in the main stage which I must say is amazing every year I have been.
The Clothes Show was amazing as usual and I even got the chance to check out the UK Beauty Awards 2011. On arrival we were given free refreshments and little wirstbands... I felt like such a VIP. In the Fashion show we got the chance to see Alexandra Burke perform and an amazing show based on the theme of 'A night in a Department Store'.

Although, I'm really trying not to spend too much money at the moment, I was looking forward to the Clothes Show so much I let myself have a bit of lee-way. I'm really happy with my purchases and managed to grab quite a few deals.

One of the first stall that I went to at the show was the Cosmo/Company stand. For £2/3 (can't quite remember) you revieved both the magazines and a bag of goodies. Although this is fab, the advertisment for this suggests you get a lot more than you actually do.

A little stall in the centre sold 3 pieces of jewellery for £5... bargin! Many of these pieces were discontinued pieces from shops such as River Island, Topshop and Miss Selfridge.. double bargin! I picked up a set of 4 rings, a set of 8 bracelets and a really cute bracelets. So I really got 14 pieces for £5... TRIPLE BARGINNN!

Models Own were delievering a great offer, of not only any 3 products for £10 (Bargin on its own!) but a free goody bag worth £70 is you did! The three products that I chose were Purple Ash, Disco Mix and Red Red Wine. The Goodies I recieved can be seen below and I must say I think they are fab!

Now, Mizz isn't a magazine that I normally purchase but with the prospect of goodies I couldn't resist, I mean it was only £2. The goodies to be honest weren't that great but I was happy with the Good Things moisturiser sample as its something I've been looking at for a while (review coming soon!)
Towards the end of the day you can pick up a Clothes Show goody bag for free! Normally a (VERY TINY) T-shirt appears in this goodie... not this year :/ I did find that its not as good as most years but I'm sure I'll get use of the toothpaste and Nivea samples.
The last place I purchased anything from was Benefit... I had walked past all day thinking... should I?! Well I did! They were offering free makeovers, which I must admit didn't look to good, she was pretty caked in makeup to start with and seemed to want to replicate the effect on me! However, many of the artists were brilliant. I picked two items that I have wanted for a long time Porefessional and They're Real Mascara which were sold at a dicounted price. There was an offer for a free gift if you brought 3 items but the free gift wasn't somthing I would really use and was super tinyyy!

Has anyone else been the Clothes Show this year?

Dosed by a Lover

Ever since I have seen several bloggers talking about Loverdose by Diesel I've really wanted to get my hand on it! I've heard most people say that the smell is quite unusual and hard to explain, something that made me very intrigued. I was really happy when I went to Boots the other day and they had it on the side for a quick spritz..... I LOVED IT!

I was at the till when I had a go so didn't want to make a panic buy and decided to leave it till next time, knowing that my birthday is in just a few weeks ;) Since then however, I just can't get the smell out of my head. Its a really nice smell that I think is perfect for day and night! It is quite difficult to explain, so I would suggest going and checking it out for yourselves but as you can guess... I loved it!

I'm beginning to become obsessed with perfumes at the moment so any favourites or suggestions would be highly appreciated!

Christmas Outfit Of The Day

Dress- Primark

I don't know about anyone else by my family tend to dress up on Christmas say, either wearing a nice gift we recieved that year or the nicest thing we own. I decided to wear a dress I've had for a couple of months. I brought this dress for Primark for £12. Its fab for wearing everyday or to dress up more.

What are anybody else thoughts on clothing for Christmas?

Christmas Nails!

I love this time of the year as there so many diffrent ways to have your nails. For Christmas however, I decided to to keep it quite simple using what was supposed to be the classic jumper print on most of my nails and then a cute Christmas Pudding on one. By Christmas day my nails were looking a little worse for ware, so I'm going to blame them on that! I'm not that steady with my hands, so this was a really easy piece of nail art. Although they may not  really suit the season now, they may do for next year ;)... highly suggested!
