So I've set myself a pact, and I'm setting you one too! As I hate wasting product I'm going to use (practically) all the products that I have laying about in draws and cupboards taking up value space that will hold my new precious products... eventually!
Here are my products, I must take the time to mention that this is NOT all of the products and there are about 5-6 more products that I keep in a separate place so forgot to take pictures of!
I plan that after using each groups of product eg. face wash I'll then invest in some face wash products and so on. Hopefully, eventually using them all up! Has anyone else tried this before... success stories please ;)

Good plan! i've been trying to do the same with all my stuff, mostly because of moving and feeling it was an utter waste throwing loads of random unused things out. If it's anything like my experience you'll find loads of new favourites!
ReplyDeleteI did this with make-up and it was a success! I had been buying new powders etc when I had perfectly good ones in my make-up bag - so I decided not to use my new ones until I'd used all my old ones up. Done the same with Moisturisers and hair shampoos. It is good to get rid of a load of products without wasting them, leaving fresh space for some new treats!
ReplyDeleteGood luck!

I'm really liking this idea, and I may have to give it a go myself once I move into my new flat this month. I've already chucked out loads of products that I never used or were at the end of their life anyway. I shall add this to my to-do list! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so disciplined, big respect from me! I need to take you as my inspiration and shop from my own stash more. My bank balance is also looking very poorly :/

I've been doing this since the start of the year and I STILL haven't had to buy anything except toothpaste and deodorant!
ReplyDeleteI've had a few samples sent by beauty PRs but still....shows how much we store!

Good luck! I have a no makeup buying ban this month and November(this excludes things like primer, and liner). I'm trying to start saving for christmas this year early. I don't think I'll make it through November but we will see.
ReplyDeleteim doing exactly the same! ive got so many products to use up before i leave uni.. and im not allowing myselfto really buy any new products of the same genre before ive used my old ones up... if that makes sense?
