Special Guest Blogger

Hey everyone! Today I'm going to show you an easy eye make-up tutorial. The look that I'll be doing is quite neutral but with shimmer and a pop of blue colour. You can see the final look on the photo below. Let's now start with a tutorial!

STEP 2: Apply your base eye shadow all over your lid with an eye shading brush. I chose a shimmery, beige colour from the Coastal Scents 88 Ultra Shimmer Palette.

STEP 3: Use a slightly lighter shimmery colour and apply it to your browbone and to the inner corners of your eyes. This will open up your eyes and make them look bigger.

STEP 4 & STEP 5: To define your eyes, choose a dark brown shimmery colour and apply it to you outer corners and to the crease. After that, apply a blue eyeliner on your lower waterline, which will make your eyes pop.

STEP 5 & STEP 6: Lastly, curl your eyelashes and apply a lengthening mascara. I really like the SuperCurlacious one from AVON because it doesn't clump your lashes and makes them look natural.

Here is the finished look, I hope you liked the tutorial!

1. What inspired you, or made you want to start your own blog?

I started reading blogs about 3 years ago and I instantly fell in love. I discovered a whole new community of amazing people from all around the world who have the same interests as I do and they all kind of inspired me to share my own thoughts and ideas online too. Most of my friends are not interested in fashion or make-up like I am, so writing my own blog enabled me to communicate with people with whom I have a lot more in common. What is more, I also have an interest in fashion/lifestyle journalism and writing a blog is in my opinion a good way to approach my ''dreams''.

2. What are your top 5 favourite blogs that you enjoy reading?

This question is really difficult for me because I literally read about 100 blogs, but if I have to choose my top 5 I would probably say Gypsy*Diaries, Superficial Girls, Style Scrapbook, The Glamurai, and Write Like No One's Watching. I love Gypsy*Diaries for Gabby's amazing travel photography, Write Like No One's Watching for Charlotte's humour and her excellent writing skills & Superficial Girls, Style Scrapbook and The Glamurai for the girls' amazing style.

3. Tell us a little about your life away from blogging?

Well, my life away from blogging is quite boring if I'm honest. I'm studying English and I spend most of the time at the university. I have really crazy schedules so I usually come home very late, I do my homework, and then watch youtube videos or TV shows and read blogs. During the week, I'm living in a city where my university is, but during the weekends, I really like to come home to our family's house where I can relax and hang out with my friends, relatives and my dog. To sum up, my life is pretty boring, haha. The only exciting parts are the days when I'm travelling.

4. Any tips for future bloggers?

I'm not a big, successful blogger so I don't know if I'm the right person to be asked this. The only thing I want to say is that if you love to write posts and if having a blog makes you happy, do it. If you're being yourself, are passionate about it and are willing to put a little bit effort into your posts, people with the same interests will notice it and start to read it.
