As its (supposedly) summer, I thought what better time to try out beach waves! I got the Carmen hair multi-styler for Christmas last year. I already new the price of this product when I got it, £29.99. I wasn't really too sure what to expect from this three is one product for that price but gave it a go none the less. If it worked bargain, if not at least it didn't cost anymore. I don't tend to use the wave plates too often because it does take quite a while to style and with my hair, it lasts about half that time!
Before starting to wave my hair I washed it using TRESemme salon silk shampoo and conditioner, John Frieda Frizz ease and Aussie dual heat protectant.
I then moved on to styling my hair, starting at the bottom and working my way to the top of my head. I held the plates on each part of my hair for around 10 second before moving down to the next part of my hair (You can see why it takes so long). If we fast forward about 50 minutes, below you will see the finished look...
Ok, so I got a bit carried away with a mini photo shoot, but I was quite happy with the out come. Although in these pictures it does look slightly frizzy which was down to my uncontrollable hair I was unluckily born with. This was about an hour after I finished the look and I was heading out to meet some friends. I think for the price these worked really well, I just hope the other two feature are just as good!
Check back to see how the other features performed...

You did I great job with the styled. Hair looks awesome. I wish I had the patience to try that. My hair is wavy and its a pain in the rear. There's a couple places it needs help when I wear it curly and straightening it takes forever. Ugh. I hate hair. Lol. But yours looks great.
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks so pretty, I tried doing this with a different brand one and it just turned out really frizzy :(

cute! this would never last in my hair though, my hair never holds any kind of curl sadly.
ReplyDeleteI had the Bed head waver, and I honestly don't like wavers in general. i don't like how my hair looks afterwards. IT just looks like I braided my hair and slept in it wet. I would rather my hair to be straight or in a bun.
ReplyDeleteI think it looks great on you though. i don't even notice frizz. I think it just looks so bad on my hair because I have no body to my hair
